¹⁹ For He ^(A)looked down from His holy height;
^(B)From heaven the Lord gazed ^[a]upon the earth,
²⁰ To hear the ^(C)groaning of the prisoner,
To ^(D)set free ^[b]those who were doomed to death,
²¹ That men may ^(E)tell of the name of the Lord in Zion
And His praise in Jerusalem,
